Exploring the River Una of Northwestern Bosnia, its surrounding nature, and canyons through kayaking is a popular choice for many.
The River Una serves as a natural boundary between Bosnia Herzegovina and Croatia.
The river covers an impressive 212 km and boasts a stunning array of waterfalls, rapids, and karst springs, all surrounded by pristine, untouched nature.
The largest city in the area is Bihać, and a significant portion of the upper river falls within the boundaries of the stunning Una National Park. The National Park Una is the largest national park in Bosnia and Herzegovina, boasting a diverse range of flora and fauna and it's home to stunning waterfalls, breathtaking canyons, and thrilling whitewater rapids.

The Bihac "City route" offers an exhilarating kayaking experience that lasts approximately 2 hours. This route is highly regarded and consists of two parts: one that takes you through the city and another that involves navigating through 8-10 thrilling waterfalls and rapids.
It's the perfect adventure for nature enthusiasts and it is suitable for individuals of all skill levels.
We partner with experienced local guides who will provide you with detailed instructions on how to operate a canoe and other necessary equipment. Waterproof bags will be provided to ensure the safety of your cell phones and other valuables.

Additionally, there is an option to arrange organized transport from either Zagreb or Banja Luka International Airport for an additional cost. Please remember to bring appropriate footwear such as water shoes, tennis shoes, or sandals, as well as a short-sleeved shirt and swimming trunks or shorts for all water activities.
This rafting adventure has an age range of 12-65 years old, which means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 65 years old, please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out the Explore Bosnia Adventures self-assessment form. Parents must accompany minors (we do not assume responsibility for individuals under 18 years old).
